Tickets, check!
Got my tickets. Looks like I really am going to Australia then. I leave first week of January. From Davao to Manila, Manila to Sydney, Sydney to Canberra. Total travel time: 20 hours.

G'die mite!
This is the blog of a Filipino studying for a year in Australia. Join him in his encounters with kangaroos, vegemite, and other things uniquely Australian.

Hey, if you have some spare time, make your way down here to Melbourne! I'll be here until March.
And don't let all this talk about "summer" fool you. Malamig pa rin! Ang init init ng araw pero ang laming ng hangin.
Anyway, enjoy your trip!
So I've been warned, nina. 28 degrees Celsius on summer! And that's just the hottest time of the day. Ha!
Will definitely give you a ring. I also have a few friends from Davao who are also studying there in Melbourne.
Hi Mark. It was you who dropped by my blog and made a comment about our trip to Davao, so now I know. Thanks for stopping by. My wife's mother and brother live in Tagum.
Have fun in Australia and good luck with your studies. I'm sure you will miss your kids, but the time will go fast and you will see them again. Best of luck to you and Happy New Year.
P.S. Update your link in your RBJ registry. I'll add you to my bookmarks.
Thanks for dropping by, manny. By the way, I only have one kid. Perhaps you are referring to my wife as my 'other kid' in the above picture. I don't blame you. We're both afflicted by this disease that makes us looks 5 to 10 years younger than we really are. 'Tis a curse, I tell you. A curse! :-)
